Cathy and I love Blasted Chicken, but I didn't like using half a can of Easy-Off Fume-Free oven cleaner to clean an enameled broiler pan (without the rack). Today was the day we'd find out if our Circulon cookie pan could survive a batch of Blasted Chicken.

While the oven preheated to 450 degrees F, I brushed a cut-up chicken with olive oil.

After 45 minutes in the oven, the chicken came out smelling as good as it looks.

Aaggh! What have I done? Is my Circulon cooke pan ruined?

After a half-hour soak (hot water and a little detergent poured into the pan), the crud wiped right off with just a little elbow grease.

Now you know what to get me if you get my name in a gift exchange.

I have one additional word..

That baking dish looks great.

However, I have one that word of an item that'll work just as good:

Corningware.

(The pyroceram stuff)

LOL

''Nice chicken recipe. Do you add any other seasonin

If we have the time, we sometimes marinate the chicken overnight in a bottle of Italian salad dressing. I shake off the excess before the chicken goes into the oven.

We're also going to try brining the chicken. Just need a good brine recipe.

And if you don't mind them a little on the dark side, fit a few Italian sausage links in among the chicken pieces for a nice mixed grill.

We've got a few circulon frying pans, and some original corningware.

The Circulon always comes clean in the dishwasher, the burnt on food comes off the corningware, but it always need a soak and a scrub with a nylon brush to get the remainder off.

I love Circulon and reccomend it to everyone.

The chicken looks and sounds wonderful, and I'm so glad the pan works and cleans up well for it. But, what does your oven look llike after making the chicken? Do you have to take the Easy Off after it to get it clean? :)
