A Kenmore alphabet washer. We bought one at a used appliance store and it was the best damned machine. Had the gold Roto-Swirl agitator..it was missing the fabric softener dispenser from the top. Mom actually found one in a box of stuff she got at an auction. We put it on...voila!! perfect fit. She paid 75 bucks for that washer and got 11 YEARS out of it before it died. Im getting back into a house soon and want to get one. Im not a fan of the newer machines. They just dont do as good a job as the old reliables. If I can find a matching dryer..I will snap that baby up too.

Kitchenaid Washer?

I would love to collect a file demo of a Kitchenaid washer. True, they are similar to WP/KM's, but perhaps the sounds of agitation, etc, might have subtle differences that I could pick up.--Laundry Shark

Typical Whirlpool Washer?

Also, would like to collect a file demo of a typical late eighties or early nineties model of a top loader Whirlpool washer with that higher speed agitation, not those weird-o sounding "Collapse-O's," or "Catastrophies." LOL! Furthermore, an early eighties Whirlpool DD or BD demo would really be nice, as my mother had one for a time, which was an almond colored unit.--Laundry Shark
