The only other machine I've ever heard make a sawing sound during agitation is my mom's 2000 GE. I don't know if I should feel better knowing that this Whirlpool makes the same type of sound, but that World washer sure is cute!

I've got one of these in the garage. It really does sound like wood sawing!
I need to source a replacement agitator top and lint filter. Kinda wish the machine had regular controls, not a computer.
