I have a question about mid-century bedding.
After making her beds, my grandmother used to keep her pillows stuffed in a cardboard tube (specially made for the bed). Once it was in place, she'd drape the cover over it and it made a neat appearance.
What are these tubes called? I'd like to get one because I have lumpy sobakowa pillows that never look good.
The tube it self BTW was made for this purpose, covered inside and out with a shiny white paper, and with a 6" slit a long the length to get the the pillows in and out.
The picture attached is from the Molly Brown house in Denver, but I remember my grandmother using them until she died in the 1970s
Thanks
