Is it a tool, or a game, or has anybody seen this before and can tell me what is is.

I have an idea what to do with it.

Mom's and sisters sometimes produce the strangest things from the thrift store I'd never think of buying for myself....

It appears to be two flat disc shaped lucite paddles connected at the handle in a tong like fashion, with one paddle featuring more of a point to it and the other being more or less round. WHAT is this?

You can also barely notice the tone arm of the 1926 Panatrope in the shadows behind the 'mystery object'.

I really do not know what this is, but I'm gonna guess it may be used to handle mexican hot tortilla's like a pizza paddle tong combination.

Thanks.

Bob

could be a large butter-ball roller. The Swedish ones are usually a little smaller and made out of wood. Could have been a "Lillian Vernon" meatball-roller gizmo for housewives that didn't want to mess up their mannies!

Well Bob, I agree with Ken. Must be some kind of meat or dough ball roller. Is lucite heat resistant? This may add a clue as to what it can handle.

Bob,

Perhaps you should try the suggestions on the people who give them. LOL

I was wondering what the person who bought it thought what it was. If you buy something you must have some idea about it.

Let's approach this a bit more scientifically. Do you think the plastic is heat resistant? How far do these things open? It looks like it is a thing to pick something up with the more pointed paddle to put under something. BTW, is there a brand name on it?

Ear Muffs

Maybe you two sets, one to put over your ears while Runaraound Susie screams her head off during the exam with the spec--um!

truly a mystery

I don't know what it is.

Can you explain how a meatball or butter roller is suppose to work?

I tried putting it on my head and it didn't fit well.

Also I think probably it is not heat resistant.

Today I managed to get another charger for my camera so maybe tomorrow I can post some more photos of the mystery object.

Thanks for guessing. I hope somebody knows what is is for sure though - 'cause I sure don't.

Holla from Hollywood.

Bob,

I've never used a paddle roller, but I think you put a blob of dough, or ground meat between the two paddles and roll them around like you would do with your hands. I guess it would save getting your hands all mucked up. The possibilities, meatballs, butterball cookies, gefilte fish, croquettes....

Do they detach? If they do, perhaps it's just a way to keep them from getting lost or separated. I still don't understand why the end of one paddle is tapered/pointed and one end is rounded.

These are just guesses. I'm still baffled!

It's a .......

See thru tortilla scooper upper!

*still lmao at the "slap my @$$ and call me Judy remark*
