I don't remember the brand. It did not have adhesive. The bottom doesn't need adhesive, I used an adhesive that comes in a tube like caulking for the sides. Again, I don't remember the brand. Sorry
As I referenced in another discussion, I bought (6 years ago) a P/N WPW10361353, which is a square shape for a Cabrio/Bravos. I traced one of the direct-drive pads I had on-hand onto a piece of cardboard for a template to cut the Bravos pad accordingly.
WPW10361353 is also NLA. They're not crucial mechanical operational parts so go NLA somewhat quickly.
I'm definitely going to have to get creative with it. Glenn, what is that noise coming from? I do hear it a little on my other DD's, but it's not as loud. I understand this is normal operation, but I am curious to what causes it.
It’s good to be aware of certain noises but sometimes there are just extraneous and trivial squeaks I wouldn’t really worry about. My 1963 Whirlpool for example, makes a few sounds that don’t sound normal since the older style of wig wag is noisier than the ones used on the later belt drives along with a clunking sound that pops up from time to time which is usually the set screw on the main transmission pulley that works loose and usually just tighten it. Most of those 2000’s Whirlpool and Kenmore direct drives are pushing 20 years old so they are going to make a few odd squeaks and rattles but as long as there isn’t any ill sounds from either the transmission or motor, wouldn’t really worry about it.
