Hey guys, I found this on Facebook marketplace. The seller mislabelled it as GE instead of GEC, is vintage it’s good looking apparently it works and I want it
A lot of the old impeller type dishwashers had the plates in a circle to face the spray head-on. I had an American Kitchens machine years ago with a rotating upper rack as well. It was amazing how fast that rack would spin from the force of the impeller, even full of glasses and mugs!
Look's like a cool old machine.
Oh wow, that’s a very unusual way of cleaning bedpans
What do I do? Wonder, what are the two indicator lights fall and the two switches for that? I actually will probably only end up finding out after getting the machine and plugging it in and putting water to it
There’s no drainpump as it just open the valve, and there is no heater either. At least from what I’ve physically seen with the photos, so I’ll have a look on Friday
It will be interesting to see a bit more of this dishwasher - being GEC one would expect some sort of British connection but its not like anything I have seen before. GEC did have a dishwasher in the early 1960s but it was top loading and looked like a GE MobileMaid
I’m pretty much happy with that, plus I will be getting it shipped down in about two weeks, and it actually seems to be kinda thin although it doesn’t look like it actually has a heater, oh well that’s what hot water is for
