Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Hoover Cadet Washers Were Rebadged Sanyo Units

Quite popular in Australia IIRC.

Unless things changed the washer uses a bottom mounted impeller for the washing action, same as the Sanyo and other Asian machines.

Aside from the twin tub washers and single tub impeller washers IIRC Hoover did not manufacture other types of washing machines back then. Rather they sourced things from other makers such as Sanyo, Blackstone, and so forth.

Of course machines like the Keymatic and other front loading washers sold in UK were Hoover's own, but they didn't make it to North America.

Still for a new set the price isn't bad for to have something new to play around with, long as the washer isn't abused after being put into use, it should last a good long while.
