Miele W1986 purchased in 2003. Things I like about it:

Cleans anything I put into it and does it fast. Normal cottons cycle takes 41 minutes

I can extend the cycle times to get a longer Euro type wash

It can be programmed. I have it programmed for water plus which gives me a bit of extra water in the wash, and much more water in the rinses.

It can do an 190F wash in 52 minutes

It senses the load size and reduces the cycle time for small loads.

Left side of control panel. Don't know why the lines are blurred on the program selector in the picture but they are straight on the machine.

Funny, the temps on Miele never do get below 30°C except on cold and delicates/woolens. would use 105°F anyway, 120°F for more soiled normal clothing or less soild sheets and towels, 140°F towels and bedding, 190°F rugs, pillows and conforters.
Would like to see it doing a cycle. How much rinses is it doing?

Oldy

1972 Maytag 806. I have family staying with me for 6 months so we are averaging 3 loads a day.
