I am considering the purchase of a KitchenAid dishwasher being offered on my local NextDoor for $75. The seller says they can't find the model number on it (which I must admit I am surprised at), that it has a stainless steel interior and that it works fine.

Assuming the above is true, it would be helpful to know what the approximate age of the unit is and I'm figuring the approximate model number/series would tell me that.

If anyone could tell me where to find the model number on this machine or recognize it or its series, I would love to know. Of course, if it is a real stinker of a machine, that would be nice to know also.

Two photos below.

About 1998ish

I was redoing my condo in Chicago in 1998. We put in the Superba model of this year run. It was basically the same machine only with SS controls. It was a good dishwasher at the time. Not the best pics but all I could find.

It was a good machine.

We lived there for four years and never had an issue with it. Sold the unit in 2002. I noticed in 2016 the condo was listed for sale and the dishwasher was still there. Then it was listed again in 2017 all the appliances were replaced with new ones so it looks like it was there at least 14 years.

Powerclean

Had same machine for many years but did have to replace the upper wash arm feed and several low cost lower wash arm support washers..

It will handle large heavily soiled loads well!
