Just when we found a BRAND NEW KitchenAid trash compactor today at the thrift store! All the literature, anti-tip bracket and even the free-standing top and a set of sample trash bags! This is from the 18 series of dishwasher era. It's a bit dusty and in desperate need of a detailing, but it works perfectly and even still smells new inside!

Great find Greg, I have heard that you can easily use a regular trash bag to line the ones made for the machine thus making them last much longer, don't know if it works but it is worth a try. Have always wanted one of those as well.

We gave ours away in the move east, they're quite heavy and there wasn't a lot of room left in the truck. Since they show up fairly regularly in the classifieds I'll get another one sooner or later.

Tell us Greg, can't imagine what Sears has that you are wanting??? Inquiring minds want to know....

Salesman? ;)

Great find, Greg! Man, I am so jealous that you manage to locate all this good stuff. Guess I'm going to have to pack my bags and venture out to the Great Midwest.

Oh my Goodness!
I had one of these. Same model!
I am sure you did not move this alone????
This thing is the same weight of a VW BUG!
It was great however.
Are you going to use it?

I loved the 1991 Kenmore I had in my old house. Will get one again. Crushes everything so densely, that we always referred to ours as "The Black Hole." Only problem is that it sometimes makes for a very heavy trash package.
