I found an ad for this washer on the Québec Kijiji classfied ads way up north in the Saguenay region of the province - I have never seen or even heard of the brand before! It's a "Dominion" - it's not one of the 'store brands' that I remember. The push buttons and cabinet design are screaming "Easy" but I could be wrong.
I have to take a run at this one - it's about 5 hours away from Montreal and it's not like I have other obligations at the moment.. LOL

If anyone has any further information about this brand, please let me know!

Oooh... GO for it Paul!   Are you able to contact the seller to find out the condition or get better photos before you make the drive?

Best of luck and I'll be waiting in the wings to hear the news of how the trek went!

Kevin

I have several small Dominion appliances...

They made waffle irons, toaster ovens, percolators, fans, and other small household items. The company wa sin Mansfield, OH. The logo on my waffle iron and toaster oven look identical to the one on that washer.

Contact made!

Bon, I had to call the seller about this. Despite the April 1st posting date this is not an April Fool's Day prank!
The washer belonged to the mother of the person selling this. According to them, the washer still works and is very clean inside and out! And in case the photo doesn't show it well, the washer is PANK! I MUST HAVE IT... LOL
Hubby will have kittens, but I'll make Beef Wellington and Crème Brulée to smooth things over.
With any luck, I'll be heading north next week!!

"Dominion" was all over Chrystal Beach, Ontario, when we were there as kids in the summer. I also think one of the ads or POD's we've seen here has a Dominion in the checker board of 25 washers. (Could be wrongguuee.)

This'll be a real treat, as is the image of hubby having kittens. You never disappoint.

What if it turns to be a bouncing basket clone--how exciting!

Whoa Paul, this is quite the find! I was thinking it looked Norge-ish, but Tom might be on to something and maybe it has fluid-drive roots....

I love those two flashy decorative strips along the waist of the machine. Too cool.

Looking forward to seeing how this one pans out!

So psyched, I just googled: dominion automatic washer

and look what I got. YOU PAUL. How cool. Also, when Aworg copied the link, the word "heirloom" appeared at the end of the string.

Must dig deeper.

Oh Paul

I sent that to myself from the past, I gave it to the woman in  1966 and told her to hold it for me till I return. Thank you for finding it  I lost my time tracker down the Disposal in 1987 and have been off radar since.

Can't wait to see it again, so many years.......

$50.00 bucks - wow!

Just had a look at the ad - it looks in beautiful condition. But I agree with the others - it DOES look like one of my toy Wolverine washers! I'll be interested in hearing about it as well, once you had a look - or better yet - bought it!
