What year did this model come out?

This is a Maytag a212, but it doesn't have a powerfin. It's a turquoise agitator with fins and holes. Mine is a general three hole old fashioned, when did this design come out? Cause the washer is the same design as mine, just the motor and agitator is different, so what year did this generation come out?

I would say this design, with the fins down the barrel started when the orbital transmission came into play.

 

What happened to the pump?   Those almost never fail.
