Didn't Granny have the same arrangement? Or was her washer the all-pushbutton and the dryer with the dial? Either rate, they didn't exactly match. IIRC didn't Maytag feature this kind of pair for a year or two?

 

In any case a beautiful set and I'm glad somebody here got them. The 702 had, in my opinion, the prettiest control dial on any Maytag.

Granny did have the same arrangement. I remember the washer having a dial, and the dryer was all push buttons. It annoyed me each time I saw that.
