Paul, thanks so much for sharing that picture. I had no idea that the Canadian version would be so much different that ours.. Love the brown handles with the carvings and it looks like the high low switch must be in the front of the pot . Very interesting!!

Much As One Loved Vac Pot Coffee From The Sunbeam

Am really loving coffee made in the glass Silex vacuum pots.

Yes, it is a bit more effort, and requires more thinking than the "set it and forget it" of an automatic unit, but the taste is more than worth it.

Am thinking there really is something to the old adage that coffee brewed in glass tastes better.
