Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Here in the EU at least, before I would get a Vestel made machine, I'd get a Midea one.

They are very cheap and parts can be a bit weird to get.
Their EU FLs have some choices in construction that are really strange indeed. For example, they use inverter motors where the entire inverter electronic assembly is on the motor itself. So if that ever fails, you'd have to change the entire motor - but then again, those are CHEAP. You get a motor for the price of some other machines inverter board.
But then again - those are 300€ machines. Even if you do your job yourself, getting a 110€ part for such a machine you really have to ask yourself if it's worth it.

But their programming is decent.
They almost always offer all the options you'd really want (prewash, quick, extra rinse) plus pretty decent programming - though cycle time might be on the longish side if you don't use the special programs. One thing they do which can be annoying is that spin speeds often preset way lower than max, so you have to change that every time you run a cycle.
Their dryers are really cheap, dry pretty well and again have all the cycles you'd ask for (specifically a bedding cycle to prevent balling and a jeans cycle for thick seams).

They are cheap and maybe only last 5-10 years - but they are cheap, and sometimes that's all you really need.
