Hi All,

Chuck and I did a little antique shopping, today, and I happened to pick up this little item. I had never seen it before....have you? :-)

I know that you are all just burning with desire to guess this item. It measures about 6" high by 5" wide by 3" deep. Made of stainless steel wire with a Bakelite handle. It was used in either a kitchen or dining room during any time of the day. With all of this information/clues the answer should just pop up at you!

The first person to guess will win the distinguished position of being a brilliant person with a fantastic imagination. I wouldn't have guessed what it was had it not come in its box.

Any ideas?

Rich

vertical file for holding menus or those "order" pads ???
no.
um
the rack for holding those little packets of sugar found at any greasy spoon.

I happen to know for a fact that Toggles has toys...

I know, because I sent him one....hmmm 3....LMAO

*ducks n runs*

oh Carol.

I am SO GONNA WHOOP YOUR @$$! ahem.. If you thought your ex was a crazy Greek, you haven't met this one.

You BETTER run girl. I put the capital "C" in See You Next Tuesday.

*ROARING HERE* Stop or I'm gonna pee myself!

OH MY!!! I think I had better tell you all what it actually

though I will have to say that Toggles does take the prize for the most imaginative!! Oye...what am I going to do with you, Steve :-)

Many of you came so close. It is called "Toast Lifter" and it was to make extracting your toast easier. No more shoving a knife into the slot to get that stubborn toast that refuses to pop up.

It claims to fit all pop-up toasters but I have tried it in several toasters and it will fit into some and not others. I can't imagine that it was too popular. Has anyone else ever seen one?

I will try to come up with another "whatsit" tonight.

Rich

I never thunk you could do that actually... Can you?

They did it in the beginning of a CSI episode. Sex party the night before, and they put all the toys in the DW before going to bed. Top rack, of course! ;-)
Chuck

oooh now that little toy must be fun when it hits an exposed element!

I wonder how many times it has caused a blown..... (sweats profusely)................ fuse!

...or

latex toy holder?

Sorry, Steve is too far away and the only latex we have here are the gloves on Rich's hands when he's doing dishes.

But we DO have silicone! It was too big for the rack though. Everytime we tried to pick it up it flopped back out.

Bet you were waiting for a picture, weren't you? ;-)

I ain't skeered of no Greek bois ;-)

Actually what Stevie baby has would fit more in one of those nipple/baby bottle cages for the DW.
Wouldn't want "those" flying around and burning up on the heat element.

LMAO....

Someone sent me an email with said party items loaded in a dishwasher...it was so funny.
