Where does the rinse aid come out?

I picked up this KitchenAid dishwasher for free, and I'm trying to understand how the rinse aid dispenses. Is it through the cap? I don't see any other location for it to flow.

The model number is KUDJ230Y3.

Yes it comes out under cap.

Leaking

Hi sorry to maybe hijack this.
Yes the rinse aid comes out from around the cap.
However with the age of the 23 series now, mine has started leaking between cycles.
I even bought another rinse aid dispenser a few months ago.
That one is now also leaking.
Seems like these dispensers are so old now, the rubber plungers are taking a set, and no longer sealing.

Does JohnL or anyone else know of any good replacements or repairs that can be done.
Do other dispensers from other WPs or KAs fit?

Mine is also leaking...I just quit using it.
