Just wondering where my post has gone. It was full of kind comments and was helping me with grieving for the loss of my nan.

No sign of it at all. Bit insensitive if its been moved.

Sorry Richard, I moved it to the As the Tub Turns Forum. I saw your off-topic post three days ago and I thought to be "sensitive" to the fact that this is a hard time for you, so I decided to leave the post in the Super Forum for three days. After three days I would move it to its proper forum. Even doing that was breaking my own rules and setting a bad example, but considering the seriousness of what you had posted I decided to temporarily look the other way.

I have clearly stated in the rules of this forum that the Super Forum is for "products for the home or home/automobile related posts, Website related questions or to report bugs". There are no exceptions to this rule. I don't always catch everything but I try to look at least once every couple of days. I do not appreciate when on very rare occasion people choose a topic button that they clearly know is incorrect to force an off topic post to a forum that it does not belong.

Sorry about that. I posted it here as I am not an upgraded member yet so thought I could use this forum to post off topic items.

I have been meaning to do it for a while but cant afford to at the moment.

Hey Robert,

As a party who is loosely guilty of the aforementioned offense (i.e.- the 2011 Holiday Party thread was posted in Super and not Imperial, though I did make it clear that it was a one-time post so that ALL members could see it), I would like to humbly ask that some reconsideration of forum divisions be entertained. A party like ours would be expected to be in a more general forum like Super (other appliances and all things about the home), and not a seemingly pigeon-holed forum like Imperial where the division is washers, dryers and dishwashers more than 20 years old.

Super has seemed to me to be a more general catch-all forum that may or may not include posts about appliances. Certainly not for things that may be controversial (which is why you gave us DL), but for things that may not fit into appliance-specific forums. Yes, we currently have ATTT for this, but it's a members only forum.

I guess the question is, since it's Automatic Washer dot Org, should all posts concerning appliances and their use (i.e.- recipes) be in the current pink, blue and yellow forums, and anything else be in the pay-to-see green and brown? That's the way it appears to be now, and of course that's fine. But, and I ask gently, I've heard the group referred to so many times as a family that I would respectfully ask that a non-appliance-related forum be made available to the general membership so that things like general get-togethers can be announced to the entire group. This could be as simple as reviewing and changing the attributes of the Super forum.

Again, thanks for everything you've gone to great lengths to make available to us, and continued success!

Chuck
