Which Kitchenaid Portable is This?

Can anyone shed some light on which model this is? Is it a good daily driver?

I'm thinking of picking it up.

I've been using a top load Kitchenaid and love it's power! Will this one be just as powerful?

Looks like it's the portable version of a KDC22/KDI22 or KDC23/KDI23.  A good performer.

So I picked it up..

I'm not sure if the model numbers in Canada are different, but here is the one that is printed on the inside:

4kpdi620-t3

How old would that make it?? Are there other color panels available?

It looks identical to the model that I have. Mine is a 1986 model I believe. On mine if you remove the side trim the front panel slides out and has another color on the other side of the same panel. There is also an additional panel with two colors behind the first one. The one I have has black, white, almond, and gold options.

I pulled out the black one yesterday. I wish it had a stainless steel panel. Ran a first load, and everything was thumbs up!

Patrician

The models went: Superba, Imperial, Patrician and Custom. Yours has too many buttons to be a Custom so I'd say it is the Patrician.

Superba, Patrician, Imperial, Custom.  

Patrician had a hidden, rapid-advance timer like the Superba but slightly fewer cycle choices and no Sani Rinse option IIRC.  There was an Imperial with a rapid-advance timer, I don't recall which series, was a surprise when I saw it in someone's post some years ago.

Model reference KPDI probably is an Imperial (KitchenAid Portable Dishwasher Imperial?).
