So, I sometimes look through the listings on the popular EU price comparison website Idealo and sometimes, some products ment for other markets make it in there through weird Amazon listings or so.

And it is quite common for many brands to no longer be actual manufacturers of products but just a relabeling adventure of one of the huge makers.

But is quite rare for larger manufacturers that have their own production to outsource.

Then I ran across this:

It's a Vestel sourced machine (obviously) and from Vestels newest higher end lineup actually.

Why LG of all manufacturers is buying machines from someone else I can only guess to be supply chain related and wanting to hit a certain price point for certain markets.

Still very odd.

Vestel machines reliability

Given their competitors at that price, I would say they are currently not a bad choice.

Sub 400€ things are getting slim. The 400€ BSH offers are quite cost cut aswell, then there is Whirlpool for all that is worth.

And that's about it.
Not sure I would choose the (surprisingly) more advanced programming of the current Vestels over the cheap and easily available parts of a Beko.
But they are a far more valid option than they used to be.

Those other cheap washer brands that source from Vestel often actually opt for Midea sourced dryers, but apparently LG was only abled to get a bundle deal?

Those Vestel dryers dry well enough, but certainly no match to LGs dryers which while not the best clothing care wise from my experience are far more flexible and advanced.
