Whirlpool 2024 washer WTW4816FW3, pump runs non-stop

Hi,
diagnosing for a friend. As soon as it starts to fill, the electric pump goes on, so water just flows in and out non-stop and it never gets to agitate or anything. We've unplugged 2x for about 5 minutes, switched around all the buttons, etc. As soon as you press the start switch, the pump starts. Board replacement already on a 2024 washer??

There is a confirmed issue with the pressure sensor on the control board on specific models and range of serial numbers. WP issued a service bulletin. Two threads discussing it:

The machine you reference is of an affected model number but the serial number is 8 weeks past (newer than) the range stated in the bulletin. Advise your friend to call Whirlpool, maybe they'll cover it, or maybe the serial number range has been extended.
