Came across a deal on a cabrio, water issues, as in slow fill, is it worth picking up cheap? Are these issue prone machines/ Not too much posted here that I could find with the search.
I was just checking some vids on Cabrios and the like
The seem like interesting machines.
It seems like a lot of work for HE.
I mean FLs just tumbles the clothes and pumps out the water.
The Cabrios have to do that but also have a pump to recirculate the water and some type 'agitator'. Plus the bottom of the tub moves separately as well. It seems like alot of maintenance.
Just my opin.
I agree, not sure what kind of track record they have. Might be worth picking up and playing with for a while and then sell if I can get it up and running properly.
I'm hoping someone here has worked on and used the cabrios.
Cabrio service docs are available at Whirlpool's tech site, www.servicematters.com. The original Cabrio mechanical design is based on Fisher & Paykel with a few changes thrown in. The new "VMW" Cabrio being rolled out now is a completely different creature.
