Hi exploder3211.

First select the type of fabric from the 3 options (natural, synthetic, delicate). Put a special stain catcher pad under the stain and press the button on the wand to release solution. Let it stay for a couple of minutes and then scrub pressing the other button on the wand to use the ultrasonic power. The wand must be in a vertical possition for best results. If stain is still there, apply more solution and continue scrubbing until the stain has gone. Then wash your clothes as normal. It really gets stains off.

Video Link

I´m sorry about the video. You tube takes aprox 8 hours to process the video because of the site´s trafic, and until then we are not able to see it.

I promise that as soon as it is available I will post the new link!!!

Video Link Working

Here is the link where you can see this beauty rinsing, dispensing fabric softener in the last rinse, and alternating high agitation speed with medium agitation which is regular in the Normal Cycle. This is the only cycle in which this occur.

That is a nice set, one of the most flexible top-loaders ever. I've found several of these (Kenmore and Whirlpool models both) cast off - minor problems mostly. My sister is using a Kenmore version now and loves it. The soak option is nice because it alternates soaking and agitation which is one of the best ways to use soaking. I like that the clothes have time to heal in between thrashings - as well as the shift to low speed agitation in Normal cycles helps with that as well.

Kenmore Pictures

Hi gansky1. Is there any chance you can post some pictures of your sister´s Kenmore, and if it is possible any videos.

I will also post some others of mine doing several things like the Catalyst Cycle which is really fun to watch.

Video Links!!!

Here are some video links for my Catalyst washer on a Normal Cycle. I hope you enjoy them!!!

Catalyst Cycle:
Wash Part 1:
Final Spin and stop:

You tube doesn´t want to show Wash part 2, Rinse parte 1 and 2 but I also uploaded them yesterday.

Just copy the links and they will show you the videos.

Hai, my question sounds ridiculous, but did you change the agitator during the washing cycle? Or is there a little lid you just pulled of. Seems to me that there is an fabric softner dispenser in the agitator at the end of the washingcycle but not at the beginnen. Or did I just lost my mind :$:D

Hi. Actually you are right!!! At the begginig of the wash it had just a lid but in the middle I just change it for the Fabric Softener Dispenser which I like most. You don´t need to change the whole agitator.

For me, it gives the aparience of a bigger washer, and also because when I use a second rinse, I like adding a little bit more softener so it can be dispensed in the first rinse.

Video Links Missing!!!

Here are the video links that were missing:
Wash part 2:
Rinse:

With this I completed a whole Normal Cycle. It began with the Catalyst Cycle, then filling, fast agitation, med agitation, bleach dispensing, neutral drain, first spin, rinse fill and agitations at high and med speed, softener dispensing, neutral drain, spray rinse spin, spin and stop.

Why did whirlpool stop making the catalyst model? I almost brought one a few years back. what a great looking washer. I wish you all the best with your's.

Hi!!!

It has been the best top loader I´ve ever have. I´ve owned Easy Golden Line (One of the bests Mexican brands about 15 years ago with the spirilator agitator), a Whirlpool Imperial, Lady Kenmore 90 series, Magic Chef TOL (Incredible good performance and capacity)and the Whirlpool Catalyst.

I bought this washer because of the control panel. I loved LED buttons since day one. Cycle have all someone could use and need. It has 3 speeds of agitation and 2 for spin. What else could I ask for. Oh yes. The funniest and amusing cycle "Catalyst". I prefer to sacrifice capacity for cycles. For me it´s also wonderful that it has a unbalanced switch that makes the spin stops instead of the washer walking around the place. The capacity was sustituted by the Samsung washer. The triple dispenser is the best thing a washer can have. It prevents clothes damage by disolving everything before this enters to the tub and contacts clothes.

I to bought a Kenmore (top of the line) Washer, Back in 1992 for the same reason you did, the control panel with the led buttons. My was not the (Catalyst) model.loved the white porcelain basket and all the dispeners.back in 2001 i wanted to buy the same washer you have, but i waited to long and when i did go back to buy it, Whirlpool stoped making it. so hang on to the them, as long as you can. Bob.
