29 inch whirlpool belt Drive commercial washer

This was the last design they made in the BD series for commercial use. It’s probably around 19 eighty through 84.

These were good rugged washers. I still know some of them that are in use and small apartment buildings where they don’t see too many loads per week.

One may have had to look hard

But there were American sort of top loading washers in Europe late as 1990's.

Catch 16:10 of this episode from "Last Of Summer Wine". You see a row of top loading washers just inside local dry cleaners.

"Nur Abholung"

English translation: "No Shipping"

German sellers on eBay and elsewhere largely won't or don't ship anything other than perhaps small items. Even trying to get them to post things such as detergents or other laundry products is difficult.

If am correct that Bosch TT like one offered by Miele and others was "automatic". That is machines went through a complete program then one transferred wash to spin basket for extraction. Thus no saving of wash or rinse water for next cycle such as with a Hoover or other semi-automatic TTs.
