Not surprising, Appliance magazine this month forecasts that appliance sales/shipments will be down in the coming year nearly five percent. New home starts are down, home sales are down, plus, home values are down overall so remodeling will be stunted as well. I guess they aren't counting on recipients of those tax "rebate" checks to buy appliances. Combine even a couple of those factors with the ongoing consolidation plans of WP and Maytag, jobs will be disappearing.
