how far up the window does it fill? I had one that would overfill about 1/3 up the window, give error code(FH IIRC)and shut down-cause was pressure switch hose had came unclipped, flopped against outer tub and had a hole worn in it.Also the drain pumps on these wear out and become erratic in operation. The pump trap could be plugged too.

FH is a no water level switch trip error code.  This can be caused by a few problems ^ as mentioned in the first reply.  You might first check the water inlet screens to see if they're plugged, a fairly common problem.  clean out the screens, flush the hoses and reconnect.  If it's still giving you the error code and lines are clear, you may have to move on to checking the solenoid valve itself.
