Always liked that console style. And it looks in terrific shape. First time I've seen one of those high-capacity lint screens. Wish that had continued to be offered.

These were really cool machines that were offered in just this one model and only for about 3 years.
I have this exact gas dryer that is going to be installed in my new home laundry room that is in process of being remolded.
This dryer used centrifugal lint particle extraction to remove lint from the airstream so there was no lint screen that would restrict the exhaust flow and impede drying speed and efficiency.
Whirlpool first used this process on their 1959, 60 and 61 LKM dryers, and on their new 1961 -63 combination washer- dryer.
Whirlpool also used this technology on their Central vacuums which allows it to collect nearly a bushel of dirt without any loss of suction.
