Whirlpool GOLD Convection Oven I need a nut to go on the end of my shaft!

I have a whirlpool GOLD convection oven range. The "REVERSE" thread nut has come off the fan blade and has disappeared. The fan blade just freewheels on the motor shaft without the nut.
I called the Repair Clinic and they say the nut is not available.
there is no part number, the motor and fan assembly is the only thing available. And the photos they have don't show the nut.
I'm currently waiting on a heart transplant and don't know how long it will take to fully recover and I want to take care of this while before I undergo the procedure. So I am asking anyone if they have one available and can send it to me. I have paypal and am willing to pay for it.

Some hardware stores may stock a left hand thread nut that would fit. They tend to keep them isolated from the rest, because, you know, there will be people who try to screw a left-hand nut onto a right hand shaft. Using a hammer.

Around here there's a local (sort of) place called The Screw Shop. Look for something similar in your area.

I would think it would be moderately easy to find the nut you need, but the real question is what size is it?

Somewhere must be a schematic with the mystery shaft carefully measured and remarked upon.

Try your nearest Ace Hardware.

The local store here has LH thread nuts in inch and metric.

I guess I need to find out the necessary bolt size and thread pitch.

There's an Ace hardware in the next town. Might just get a few different sizes if I can't get a bead on size, etc.

Yes,

I'd shop for the correct size nut first also. In case you don't find it, then I'd try a magnet on a long narrow thing and try retrieving the old nut from the inside of the oven if you can access it easily.
It would seem a convection fan shaft nut should have a lock washer.
Lastly, I'd shop for another motor with the fan and or nut at an appliance parts shop. They may also know where to get one reasonably priced.
I'm sure the same motor, fan an nut were used also on Kitchen Aid ovens.
There are a lot of them out there, so I bet others have had this happen.
