Whirlpool Portable Washer

The washer console says "Wash 'N Spin"
Is this a manual or semi-automatic timer control vs. a fully automatic fill-wash-drain-spin-fill-rinse-drain-spin operation?
The timer is labeled Wash Cycle, Pump Out, Spin ... can't read the rest.

...seen a timer setup like that. Hope someone can explain what's going on with that, and maybe even offer some better pics of it.

It pays to search the archives...
Whirlpool also sold this BOL washer under Kenmore brand in several flavors over years (1960's?)
As usual for period of time Kenmore models had various bits different than their WP cousins.

Water temp is controlled via faucet (one inlet valve only), through IIRC some models were manual fill.
WP as with later models offer these washers as stationary, portable and "convertible" as well IIRC.
