Does the Senseon combine electronic drying controls with thermo-mechanical "auto-dry" instead of a timer?

On a WP & KM, IIRC once the electronic drying sensors are satisfied, the cycle begins a timed dry, this allows for the selection of dryness level.

I was told, awhile ago now, so don't hold it against me if I don't get the details spot-on, that this dryer uses a combination of temperature and moisture sensors working together with the computer to determine dryness levels and adjust cycle times more accurately.

Steve, Senseon & AccelerCare are pretty much the same technology and is what's known as Even Heat in Kenmore dryers. Yes, there are electronic sensors monitoring moisture. There aer also sensors monitoring the inside temperature such that there is very little swing in temperature during the dry cycle as is typically found. I believe the heating source has a mode that quickly brings the load up to the temp the user has set and then there's a lesser mode that maintains that temperature throughout the cycle. Drying is supposed to be faster and less damaging to fabrics.

Does not provide enough cooldown time. Clothing is very warm at end of cycle. Wrinkle shield doesn't kick in right away. Also has a thermister instead of an operating thermostat, hence the finer temp management.
