My Whirlpool WTW5057LW0 top load washing machine has started sounding like a jet engine on the spin cycle. It was purchased in 2021, it has no shaking or vibration, it works perfectly other than the fact that it’s noisy.

As it gets faster, it also gets louder. Only happens on spin cycle, noise does not occur on wash or fill cycles. Is it worth fixing?

That could in theory be a lot.
But that jet engine sound is typical of bearing failure.

On these machines, the main bearing is part of the non-serviceable transmission assembly.
So a whole new transmission would be in order.
Part number should be W11449840.

Used, a quick search would put that part at something like 140$ plus shipping.
A new one would be something like 170$ plus shipping.
That job is pretty involved. If you can do it yourself and can spare a weekend, that job might make sense.
But honestly, even then, you'd probably be better of to just grab something used cheaply to hold you over or to just get something new.
Don't see much point in spending 200$ in parts plus the same in labour into a machine that can be had new today for 700$...
