Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

It’s a lost cause.
This once great site has been taken over by lunatics.
It’s probably a bad idea to be here.
This used to be a once great site with members full of first hand knowledge and industry and collector know-how.
Many have sadly departed or left the site for obvious reasons.
It’s now a collection of conspiracy theories and baseless, made up opinions that you guys try to pass off as factual information on machines.

I feel bad for anyone online browsing here looking for actual appliance information, after 2020.
Best to keep to the archives, people.

It’s been fun for a while. Stay sane out there with all the crazies.
Unfortunately the website is slowly imploding upon itself. Continued opinion bashing regarding appliances and consumer choice thrust down our table posts. There is an element of newbies that belong to "BITTER", table for one and others as you quote as "lunatics" diluting once what was the the creation of "automaticwasher.com" by Unimatic (Robert).

They’re already out- I’ve seen the Whirlpool and Maytag version on ABT’s site. The Maytag even includes fan drying which is a little- but not completely- redundant with the auto open door and is really well priced. The KitchenAid versions are on their site but not really on many retailers yet.

I hate to say it, but the green color for the KitchenAid would definitely convince me to spend more. lol.
Wait what? Green?? Where did you see that?

Not only part of the dilution of this site but exactly my thoughts of the first responses to my post that would try to justify themselves

Yes, I will ask for an example of my problem behavior if you make an accusation of it.

However, before anything else I'd be more concerned about the rampant name calling perpetuated in every other thread by a select few members ie "lunatics"

If I don't like modern dishwasher motors or the machine's limited warranty then thats just something others have to make peace with. Letting someone have an opinion that happens to be different than yours isn't a sign or act an act of agreeing with them.

Did you read my post (previous to yours) Get a grip, some members cannot help themselves......
Well it’s true, he’s told us that he doesn’t buy the appliances he just uses whatever is available, just teasing, get over yourself. And this website has already long deteriorated, way before the horrible remodel of this website, consider other members who are much more active than I am, with my once a month tune-ins.

Don't you get it? Why have you taken my comments as directed to you. Just as I referred to those who would respond to my post along with "John300m" there where belongs an element of members that are "lunatics". You are not exclusive

Because I read it as there being two distinct groups of people-

There is an element of newbies that belong to "BITTER", table for one and others as you quote as "lunatics" diluting once what was the the creation of "automaticwasher.com" by Unimatic (Robert).

John300M, Combo52, Michaelz08, ect being in the group of "BITTER" and Myself, Jerome, Phillymatt53, ect being in the "lunatics" group. At least that is what I thought John300m was referring to when he used the word "lunatics".

Which takes me to the point I am trying to make. No one should be called a "lunatic" "crazies" "village oddities" because the other side can't handle dissenting opinion. I am not saying you have done such. Just that other members like John300m have.

I know I should just ignore the remarks and hit the "report" button as the new forum management instructs, but at the same time it is getting tiring of having to walk away from every other thread.

For the most part it seems, many members are repectable towards others, even if they don't agree with other's postings.
Debates can happen, mistaken information sometimes happens, it's a part of human nature.
However, I and I'm sure some others can attest to the fact that others reply with an attitude like a schoolyard bully, with offensive language.
Those types do not help the general morale of the site.
