Who makes this new GE portable dishwasher?

Hey all, this model has been sparking my interest for some time now, especially now that it’s at an extremely lower rate for sale, and it’s a very interesting model. Now I do know this model is in sync with the built in models, and it’s made me wonder with the interior, is it Bosch inspired or what? It looks identical to a Boschs interior, same spray arms, racks, everything looks like it was ripped out of a Bosch. I also do believe this machine runs everything all at once and uses a bit more water, this is a model I am considering for down the road incase my PC ever happens to have an issue and I’d like to get something all stainless as TT too for that matter. I just have noticed that the new GE models have gone more upscale it seems

GE Chinese built DW

Hi Dan, these are sold by several different brands including WP, the BI version is shorter than regular DWs so it is sold as an ADA DW because it can be installed under a 32" high counter top.

 

They work ok but are POS, they are hard to repair have LOTS of problems, the only thing that is the same as a Bosch are the interior colors if you look carefully, no parts are interchangeable, yes whoever designed it probably looked at a Bosch machine but if you take a look underneath you will see no similarities.

Has HAIER ownership changed GE craftsmanship since their takeover?
What have y’all seen in the field?

We have the GE (Haier) Profile induction stove, and while I realisitically can't compare it to other brands being as I've no experience with them, the stove seems very well built. Made in USA though it's possible some of the electronic wizardy may be outsourced from Asia.
