I wrote a few times more but got no answer. I was going to put in a call, but pulled my back and had to put my dog to sleep, so I have kind of been out of it. Let me give them a ring and see...

Well, well, well

I called the owner up. Regular guy who doesn't check is emails because of the spam Craigs list creates. It was his father's - the washer is long gone. He was reluctant to scrap/sell because it was in such good condition. I am going there tomorrow to pick it up.

Thanks to Phil and Rick for giving me a poke about this one. Vintage machines almost never come up locally. I'll post photos when it arrives.

That just goes to show that you can't always assume anything. Bill, that was meant to happen for you - they had a matching washer? oh man oh well.
