Wow Jon, that is some serious induction cooker! I like the knobs, although I'm used to touch controls on my induction hob/cooktop. Looking forward to what you will be cooking with it. It looks like you will be ready for big dnner parties! Have fun cooking and spoil us a few pictures now and then.

I like how those LEDs work on the Samsung. When I was getting serious I remembered they had had a model with 3 induction burners and one conventional burner but it had been discontinued.. Which was too bad because it would have allowed the use of my aluminum or corningware and we rarely if ever use more than 2 burners at once. The price of the GE was another factor being around $1500 compared to the Samsungs $2400. The Frigidaire was priced even less at about $1000 but as previously mentioned didn't feel as robust, so the GE was a good compromise and it works very well. They offered me a 5 year warranty for the price of 3 years (about $150) so I took it, just in case

Bosch iirc, or it could have been one of the tonier brands, had or may still have an induction cooktop which utilizes those little sliding doo dads to control the burner like on that early Westinghouse.

You know what would be great,, a retro styled induction setup like those side by side flip down Westinghouse burners. or were they Frigidaire? Would save a lot of counterspace.
