While that's a great machine....

where do you suppose the original racks are? It would be useless without them. I installed one of these machines in my new home downstairs in the laundry room, and can't wait to use it! Mark

I have the portable version, the KD-2P, and it certainly does fling the water around with authority. If you run it without the racks, you hear the water drumming on the lid from another room... lol... Any light weight plastic item must be firmly anchored to prevent it from flying around inside the washer. I lost one plastic storage bowl lid because it sailed around and wedged itself between the utensil basket and the heated air port, and partially melted. Oh well.

It does have a heater, but it's a heated air dry system, not a water heater.

The Frigidaire stainless fold down cooktops and convection (?) oven sound interesting as well. Didn't know that convection was marketed way back in '55.

Oh yeah, the marble shelves gotta go. Maybe somebody was using the thing for storage instead of dishwashing?
