Who's tried Ariel Alpine laundry detergent?

Has anyone tried the Ariel Alpine detergent? How does it compare in scent to other detergents and to the original Ariel? I personally love all things Persil (Henkel variety from Germany). This detergent intrigues me even though I'm not normally a fan of the Ariel scent. I'm considering ordering it from abroad as it is discontinued in many countries except France I believe.

Have used Ariel Alpine and it works well as any other version. Ariel is just "Tide" or whatever top shelf laundry detergent P&G markets in particular country.

In common with many other offerings from P&G Ariel Alpine scent is rather powerful and long lasting. If that's up your street fine, but some don't care for such things.

Ariel Alpine is difficult to find even in Europe. Alpine "Fresh"(Fraiche) can be had in France and other parts of Europe. Trick is getting things shipped to your location.

If going down that slope would suggest pods, gel or powder. Unless packaged carefully liquid laundry products of all sorts have tendency of arriving a leaking and busted mess. Even local Amazon delivery often doesn't avoid that fate. Thus something coming internationally may prove to suffer worse fate. That is if ordered four bottles two or three may arrive damaged.

If not buying locally make sure seller isn't flogging old stock. As with many other liquid laundry products the scent of Alpine Fresh deteriorates with age. To point where even in container there's little scent and far less on laundry after use, especially when dry.
