How to convince your father...

Hi! Excellent machine the one you found! I love all Mieles and the one you have,in my opinion, represents very well the company philosophy of making appliances that will last fr decades...
So you seem you have the same problem I had (and I still have) with my father. As I collect not only dishwasher and washing machines but also tv sets (I have about 300 of them)you can understand I faced the problem of my parents being slightly disappointed with the mess all around several times. I usually leave my father scream at me whenever he wants to do so. Mieles are far too hard for him to move! A way to convince your father could be the one of explaining why you care so much about that old washing machine. You could also show your father how strong and reliable this machine is made, trying to catch is interest (sometimes it worked with my father...)or you could show him this site and explain him that many guys are interested in this stuff. You could show your father the pictures of some of my washers (you can find them on the thread about the pictures of washing machines...)and tell him another father is having the same troubles...
The last thing you could do it is to get rid of the worst of the three machines you have, perhaps the one behind the Miele?
:-))
Good luck

Well that machine is not mine!!:) It's the new washer from the owner!! Getting rid of one?? Not an option. I have an OLYMPIA and my mother has one (so that makes two)... I'll try the rest you've said. There has to be a way to convince him:)!!
