I have many fingers out for unusual machines. One of my favorite haunts is the Salvation Army Thrift Store. This one is a big wherehouse where the 'as is' stuff goes before it goes away. The nicer stuff goes out to the main stores around the area.

There was a older Speed Queen dryer there. A little rough but still decent after who knows how many years... By the way, how old IS this?

A PANK Kenmore 800 dryer! WOW! In wonderful shape, too! Gordon told me the age but it is escaping me at the moment. I'm sure either he or one of you will assist with the age.

The drum looks used but not abused. I just picked this up this morning and wanted to post a few preview pics. Here in the next day or two, I'll get her cleaned up and lit up for some nicer pictures and the customary night shot... I was told this came in stag. Pity, I'd have LOVED to have put my hands on the matching washer. Who wouldn't?!?

The color is very vibrant and in good condition as is the chrome!

Our salvation armies usually carry a TON of old 50s and 40s kirbys, but nothing super exciting like this!

My Grandmother's Washer!

That is the exact matching dryer to my grandmother's Lady Kenmore 800. 1962 or 1963 if I recall correctly. Beautiful machine! You're right...a matching pair of the 800s would be FABULOUS!
