You gotta understand a little French for this one.
Back in the 30s, the gova-mint sent some english speaking teachers done to Cajun country of Louisiana to teach dem lil' kids how to talk dat English. Well, this little lady was at the school in Church Point trying to teach the kids to count in English so she did like this.
"Now I want you all to repeat after me.
Now, say 'one'"
and the kids said "One"
"Now, say two"
And the kids left.
(hint: Say Two sounds like C'est Tout, meaning "That's all")
