In case anyone needs to set their TiVo,VCR,DVR or whatever, tomorrow night is the series finale of the televison series "Will and Grace" on NBC.

Haven't watched the show regularly in quite sometime, and only was made aware of the ending by seeing a clip for today's Oprah show (entire cast was on today's show), so cannot say what or how things may wrap up.

Still it may be worth a peep.

Well do know that Grace is expecting, and Will even joked he will be paying for the child's college expenses. For those that missed last season, Grace was married to "Leo" (Harry Connick Jr.), but the marriage ended. The child is Leo's not Will's.

So maybe:
Grace and Leo get back together
Grace and Will finally get married and raise the child together
Grace, Will, Karen and Jack all move in together and start a BB in Vermont

I watched it a bit when it first came on and sort of lost interest. Seeing a few more shows here and there didn't rekindle any spark as it seemed all the more contrived. You can tell when these shows are faltering, the yelling and screaming scenes increase or they bring in a new character played by Ted McGinty, a sure fire method to kill a show.

I still watch the show faithfully, although most of this season's episodes have been pretty lame. You can tell Sean Hayes is sick to death of playing Jack, and the writing has really suffered. Too bad it's limping toward the finale, but I guess I'll still miss the show. It's certainly not the first long-running comdey to fizzle out the last season or two...

Well, there are only so many actually funny jokes one can write about Karen's large bust, her drug/drinking issues, Jack's financial dependence, Will's alleged weight problem, or Grace's small bust and romantic misadventures. I think they ran out quite a while ago, and while the show blazed new trails in protraying gay men and the women who love them. Personally I thought "Third Rock From the Sun" was a better show, overall.

Save for the WILL & GRACE fo G-d

Did anyone catch the last eposide?

What abour Karen's advice to Jack concerning being with someone you don't love?
Was that not a laugh-riot?

I will quote it MUCH later in the thread so as not to bring this post to the sewer right away!

I thought the show ended well. I was thrilled they had Will and Vince get back together and even gave them a kid! It was the right way to end the show.

Now that there is going to be a void of a gay sitcom, maybe a bunch of us should start one from Applianceville, and we could air it on YouTube, until it's discovered

and picked up by NBC.

Awww, kinda like this place. Which I think with some of the material we run with around here, would make a FAB show!
Think of it....set in Beaverhole USA, (I made that up, duh) Vintage Appliances, no hate crimes, laughter, fun, good cooking, tips on washing clothes, how to clinics on how to repair appliances, we could share recipes, and call it the Applianceville Variety Show. LOL

LMAO I need a depends, or a tranquilizer.

Good Taste

I was always surprised that a gay man, living with a designer had such a hodgepodge of stuff going on is his apartment.

Just think of the fun we could have throwing in junking and trying to be the first at yard sales.

All the opportunities to fight with each other and our partners over what we going to buy, how to get it in the old truck we only drive to sales and of course, the truck won't start or the stove falls off the back etcetcetcetc.

They pay way too much in rent to have money left-over.

AMEN.

You just won the bone-us prize for asking the question we were all thinking and didn't have the chutzbah to ask.

I said Beaverhole, Toggles

Ok, Missy,
YOU think of the American Dream City name.
I need more coffee and a ciggy.

I hear Hollywood calling!

What was the name of the town where Beaver grew up.
Samantha?
Ozzy & Harriett?
Dennis the Menance?

Gaynese

Toggles,

It is a language we share, the litmus test of queer. That is why it is so affirming to communicate with other gay men.

I recently went to a seminar and the women giving the presentation was spellbinding as a speaker with her style, insights and intellect.

She was fabulously dressed and had spent a fortune on her ensemble.

She didn't wear a slip and you could look through the gauzy material and see her legs.

It wreaked the whole look. I mentioned to the man next to me.

He shook his head and said, "Only a gay man would notice!"
