Windmaker Fan Finds

From family estate auction @ the Whirlpool dealer where I worked for several summers many years ago. They also sold Zenith TVs, Panasonic microwaves, and Windmaker fans.

1) Smaller fan is NIB.
2) Larger is older but not ancient. Has some moderate rusting. Can be cleaned & maybe chrome paint.

Nice fans. I've always liked the Windmakers. I remember when dealers would line them up from smallest to largest in their display windows.

Windmaker fans were a large deal at the store back in the day.  Customers had their fans for years, brought them in annually at start of the summer season for cleaning & oiling.  Broken switches and bad motors were replaced, as compared to throwaway fans nowdays.

There were some smaller fans in various conditions ... an Emerson, Robbins & Meyers, GE, etc.

Someone bought a Maytag kick-start gasoline engine for $190 (just the engine, not a complete wringer machine).

A working antique crank cash register used at the store went for $80.

A non-working Baldwin Overture electronic organ 35-ish years old went for $45 (picture sourced from elsewhere, same model).
