We've already had a thread on picture help, so I've decided to open a new one on Windows Movie Maker.

OK, so I want to make a few videos for You Tube with the help of WMM. However, this program is totally Greek to me. It's like going down a long dark hallway and not being able to find the light switch.

Has anyone used it before? Is it pretty much "user friendly"? Are there any easy to understand tutorials (I viewed a few on You Tube and I still didn't understand half the stuff they were talking about)? Are there, perhaps, any other programs similar to it on the internet that are even friendlier (and also FREE)?

Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks for any help that may be provided. ;)

I found the Windows Movie Maker very easy to use. Just follow these steps.

First, import any videos, photos that you want to use into the Movie Maker via the "Import Video" & "Import Pictures" options on the start up screen.

Then just drag and drop your video/photos on to the "timeline" at the bottom of the screen.

You can add title and credits via the Tools Option menu.

Tip: Start your camera a few seconds prior to the action needed in your shots and let it run a few seconds after the shot. In my video you'll see that the audio sometimes doesn't start for a second or two.
