Thanks for posting pictures of these machines. I love the Whirlpool/Brastemp. It looks like an industrial paper shredder or something. Very cool! I like the Electrolux, too.

Nice, I'm glad someone finally figured out that average people (i.e. not just appliance hobbyists) do like to check what their washer is doing from time to time.

One could always try to get a custom-made perspex lid for an American TL, and bolting it onto the hinges. That being said, most of us here know how to defeat the pesky interlock switches and don't mind the occasional blobs of suds on the ceiling when an over-soaped load goes into spin

I wonder if the console-free look will ever migrate to US machines. It's kinda cool, really. And it reminds one of how everything comes 'full-circle' eventually. These machines are certainly reminiscent of the earliest US top-loaders.

Very cool and thanks for posting; I'll take one of each please!!! Love the console-free look and window lids, and one of the features I like on the Electrolux machine is the recirculating lint filter. How many brands offer those besides Electrolux over there? Inquiring minds want to know...

Ugliest: Electrolux, but it has the recirculating filter.

Watching a washing machine is fun enough but having recirculating water just increases the fun 10x.

Why can't we have machines like that here in the states? They're new, they're awesome. The electrolux I think is a modern Frigidaire with a recirc filter, but still pretty darn cool.

With the rounded front it kind of reminds me of this.... Just wish my 56 had a window lid.

Why don't they make the new U.S. machines as nice looking as the Brazilian models?

Hi Rickr, in Brazil has a concern very big with the esthetic one of the things, another factor is our competitive market, if you manufacture them do not become the models of interesting washers they really do not seels. The models suffer small alterations to each year and completely change to each 3 years.

The model top of line is of the Brastemp (first photo), is confectioned in inox and has the felt system sixth.
Of the consul (second photo) it is more popular, however she is one of the best washers that already left in the market (mecânic).
Washers GE are new in the Brazilian market, therefore I do not have no opinion formed on them.
The model of Electrolux that it is shown in the photo is an innovation in the Brazilian market, with three speeds of agitation (turbo, normal and delicate) to filter recirculator and the laudering of tenis.
The last photo mentions a model to it of low quality, which is seling for the low classrooms, it has few functions and its durability is low.

I wait to have described a little of the machines to wash of Brazil for all!

They used to change the look of the models every year or so in the USA also. It is too expensive for the tooling changes to do that today.

Those are so nice looking with the clear windows, I hate the blackened windows on machines here.
