Here is the new Maytag corner.

The 1960 Maytag 160 & 741c dryer. I gave it a burnerotomy and made it an electric dryer. Not the exact match for this washer, but this has to be the quietest HOH I've ever heard.

And YES, peeking into the Matyag corner - I have a DD Kitchen Aid electronic control washer. This is actually a very impressive washer, many nice upgrades in the KA laundry line from their WP counterparts. The "fit and finsh" of the machine is outstanding. And what to my wondering, awestruck eyes should appear? The water level display has a blinking light that shows the current level as it's filling. I love early laundry electronics!

Inside the KA, the giant Sure-Scrub agitator creates some great water turbulence.

Robert, I would love to see some detailed photos of the 1957 Kenmores. They are just outstanding!

Greg, Love your Maytag corner! Those dryers are SOOOO quiet! looks like all you will need is the pushbutton control assembly for the dryer. Should come your way sooner or later. Perhaps someone here will come across one for you. I will keep my eyes peeled too.

Almost bought a used KitchenAid fridge a few years ago,but it was too wide for my space. I was impressed with the quality of that fridge also.

Hey Rick - can you post a few pics of your GE FF - Thats close to my grandmothers and I had saved pics of it a while ago but my hard drive crashed in aug and i lost them. I'd really appreciate it!
