I've never seen a Wizard like this. Does anyone know what year it is? Looks like late 50's. That lint filter is a hoot!

What I want to know is, if you own the suds bank model, what happens if you try to re-use the water a fifth time..... ;-)

Les-----

Back in the day those machines were all around Atlanta, as were the Western Auto stores.I remember them well. Most folks took the filter out and tossed it on a shelf somewhere never to be bothered with again. Kind of like the pulsator cap on the Frigidaires.

I always felt like those kind of filters intruded somewhat on the space available inside the tub.

Laundramatt--- One of these washers can be purchased at your local Time Machine. Just press the button that says 1961. :)

Appnut-- I was just about to make that same point. You certainly wouldn't see that happening today...

Toggle-- It's official; you're incorrigible, LOL!

Hmmmm....

Load #1: Towels - you know where they've been
Load #2: Drawers & t-shirts - you know where they've been
Load #3: Jeans - washed the same water as the drawers and towels
Load #4: Shirts - washed in the same 5H1T water as loads 1-4.
Load #5: Sheets - now that your sheets are soaked in every bodily fluid possible, you can sleep better knowing you have a Wizard.

This must be one of the solid tub shredders that Robert picked up last year.
