Working Maytag and Ironers for sale

I had a guy come into my shop the other day and he would like to sell these machines and does not want them to go to the Krusher.

Had two Thor GladIrons in the past, though it seems that unit is missing the side "wings". If did not just get an Ironrite 890 "Porta-Ironer", would go for the Maytag but really just do not have the room for three ironers.

Why not list the items on fleaBay? Maytag and Thor ironers seem to do well there.

I'll suggest that to the owner if no one here wants them. I thought I would offer it to the club first.

I really would like to play with them but I am out of space!

Nab the Thor Gladiron and maybe we can "swap" (or heck, I'll just give you) the side wings. Have two sets from ironers long since gone to the Krusher and would like them to go to a good home. Thor GladIrons really do not travel well without careful packing and shipping, so keeping it local is a good idea. Since the units are portable and compact am sure you can find a cubby hole some where. Oh yes, still have the original manual as well. While large items are tricky on a GladIron, small things like pillow slips, placemats, napkins, trouser/jeans are a snap.

Oh yes, forgot you are an ironer "innocent", the Thor ironers fold down for storage this is why I'm saying all you would need is a cubby for storage. Thor GladIrons were designed for housewives suffering from post WWII housing space crunch to have an ironer since it was not like the huge Ironrites or other large cabinet ironers.
