This is crazy. Look at the horrible ratings (in terms of health) not performance, that all of these different detergents get...

Tide, Downy, Kirkland, Persil, etc all get D's F's

I remember a long time ago I bought some liquid dish detergent (similar to dawn) but it was the kirkland brand. I remember using it and thinking, wow, this stuff is awesome... It worked as good as Dawn....and it's "ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPOSIBLE" to boot...

You just have to search your brand.... I swear at this point though I'm not sure if I even CARE! We are surrounding by chemicals that aren't good for us all the time... sadly

Now I see it gets an F rating... along with soooo many others.

Ehhh

Not wanna be to political, but any Anti-Vax and GMO fear mongering non-profit clearly has a certain agenda that will probably influence certain rating methodology.

Not discrediting them completely, but we have a similar "rivalry" over here between Stiftung Warentest and Ökotest.
Both are product rating companies, and one obviously has a certain agenda. The EU has generally pretty strict products ingredient regulations. Warentest usually tests to that standard or slightly more restrictive. Ökotest sets their own, way more stringent limits, resulting in some products excelling with Warentest while failing Ökotest.

So you usually can take either result with a grain of salt.

What's the problem?

I have taken a look at a couple of detergents (including the "Kirkland Signature Ultra Shine Premium Dish Soap, Citrus Scent") and I haven't found anything that I didn't already know.

What is stated is almost common sense: I surely did not need them to know that fragrances might cause respiratory problems (especially to asthma sufferers) and skin allergies or irritation, or even that some conservatives might cause allergic reactions, let alone that all detergents are more or less environmentally unfriedly

This is the reason why proper rinsing is extremely important.

I have my aunt staying with me at the moment and she asked me if I had fragrance free, sensitive skin detergent as she breaks out very easy. I told her no but my washer rinses extremely well, especially after I elongated the spray rinse an additional 30 seconds on top of a full minute via factory setting. She had ZERO problems with powdered Tide detergent that I generally overdose with mechanically softened water on at least 4 loads so far.

Proper rinsing is NOT wasted water, I don't care what anybody thinks or says.

There's a some evidence that coffee contains mycotoxins and mold. It's also hard on the adrenal glands.

The ONLY reason it's provided at the workplace is to increase performance. As a kid, I used to watch family members be cranky, walking zombie in the morning until they had their coffee. It was never something I was interested in.
