I've never seen any of those refrigerators out in the wild or posted here. I have to assume they didn't have the same rate of survival as their GE, Coldspot (oddly) and Frigidaire contemporaries.
The Mark 61 is a real beauty, but I wonder if the "Jet Cold" shelves had a tendency to freeze things. I appreciate the concept of aiming the flow of cold air directly at the door shelving, though.

Seems that
GM Frigidaire went after style and the slim look with lady models, and Whirlpool with the farmer, and function. Two Ohio diversities.

Whirlpool refrigerators weren't made in Ohio. Their refrigerator factory was in Evansville, IN at that time (former Seeger Refrigerator Co. and International Harvester plants).

In my house, In my book they along with their Coldspot equivalents were the best on the market, The compressor they used, built by them from the old Seeger design, was better than any other.

I meant the main Frigidaire plant in Dayton and the Whirlpool plants in Clyde, dryers from Findlay, or Marion, and Ranges from there being significant to Ohio. Then dishwashers. I'm sure many Ohio Whirlpool employees bought Whirlpool refrigerators too. Some wre of course farmers who worked there at least in winter months.

Believe WP used Leo Burnett as an ad-agency---they were heavily Chicago-focused in the early days (and Benton Harbor gets Chicago media). Fran Allen/Kukla Fran and Ollie who did WP advertising in the 50s were Chicago-based. Remember that a huge proportion of their business was Sears so they were left with marketing the remainder only---which is why you don't see quite the quantity of relics or advertising given the size of the company.
